Beaded M35 Police helmet
This is a nice one !
Andrea maybe you remember it when a previous owner posted it 10 years ago. As I always do after purchasing a helmet I search for similar examples but this time I found this particular helmet was owned by a Swedish collector before me.
I have been collecting civic types now for 5 years and I always thought a beaded Police would be one of the first that I would acquire as I assumed they were not uncommon but it turns out I was wrong.
ET 66 - Lot nr 4079 - There's a shadow of a Luftschutz decal in front , I think it's under the paint. Looks like it received a light exterior overpaint.
Nice LS Eagle stamp on the leather and named twice to Albrecht , in paint and on the leather.

Everything in this helmet is superb. A keeper for sure.
I recall it because of the nicely executed naming; even the misprinted M&B eagle is lovely 🙂
Very nice example Frank. I like the stamp, and the liner is a better quality than you normally see in these. Almost looks like an M31 liner but I can see the cork spacers so know it is not. Pristine condition throughout.

Very nice Frank. I agree they don’t come any better. Funny our misconceptions about things. I know for me when I was starting out. My “view” on certain helmets and their desirability / availability was way off. So I can agree with the “ahh that will be no problem to find” only to have to wait patiently on some. You have acquired some nice helms in 2022. Don’t stop. Keep it real

Thanks guys , it is funny how you cannot let slide a helmet when you recognize its rarity in some cases even if you already have one.
Terry the M31 leather is sewn on to the cardboard liner band.
I have an early fire brigade one which has similar leather but a litte differently sewn.
