Hard to bend and read, Frank.
It's definitely a Schubert werke, the year I don't know.

Quote from David C. on July 5, 2022, 12:06 amThe eagle decal is level & placed perfect !! A bit more quality minded on a pre-war police as far as placement of the decals. Even the Nat. shield is perfectly level...though a bit lower than the eagle.
Do we know what the ink stamp reads ? Possibly a business card or his personal ad ? We see these personalized liners occasionally.
Thanks, D

Can you interpret the 1st helmet ?
Thanks, D
I think he was the Revier Oberwachtmeister of the Schupo (Schutzpolizei) in the city of Bochum at 221 Wittener Strasse
I know you know this but for others. Oberwachtmeister is the police NCO rank of Senior Watch Master and is the equivalent of Oberfeldwebel or Staff Sergeant . And Rev stands for Revier. So he was the Revier Oberwachtmeister which means he was the Precincts Senior Watch Master.
And here is the building......
