Yes as a reminder, I was aware this was a reproduction liner and not a dealbreaker for me because I got a good deal. The guy who runs the estate sale has an estate sale company and does probate work in and around Detroit so he was understandably busy since the sale ended ~23 days ago. He picked up the helmet from the property today and sent me the photos of manufacturer and lot number as requested. Turns out it's a Q64. It also looks like it's a lot twin based on the lot number list on this site. I can't decipher the letters on the lot, but based on that spreadsheet I'm guessing it's DN. Lot number sheet has one entry for "M40 DN151 Q 64 SD LW steel liner Eagle 98% (small scar on the right wing) - light brown leather". Second entry is "DN151 Q 64 SD LW steel liner DN weakly stamped - tan leather with name scratched in the leather - decal 100% - near mint helmet". Guessing this one is the latter. Not sure if there's another source to corroborate?

Upload Files:Add another file ...Maximum files: 10 · Maximum file size: 10 MB · Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pdfCancel Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like this:Like Loading...
