It was a barn find from a farm in Cambridgeshire (UK) - presumably brought back as a souvenir. It's not my best helmet but it holds a special place and it does have (I think) character. It's quite pitted to the outside and rusty on the inside and it's suffered some damage to the liner. Despite this it retains a lot of original paint, has an original chin strap (still in one piece) and has retained a decent amount of decal, despite ill treatment and the ravages of time. As always your thoughts and comments are welcomed. Cheers.
