No worries , bad guy item is a strong word but I think such helmets are over valued , if you can pick it up for peanuts it could be considered if you really felt the urge although even a few hundred euros could not convince me.</blockquote>

Not really a bad buy as Frank said and i agree on that.

it is priced for what is worth. you'll never find a M40 SS for that price unless you discover one in a barn or attic.

it's easy to fall into the trap of being emotionally excited...but then you do realize that a helmet like that is hard to move when the time comes. (and there will be that day for sure because you'll want to upgrade at some point)</blockquote>
What is a good price on a helmet in that condition? Like Frank said, if it can be had for peanuts compared to the relative price of other helmets I'd probably get it as a fun piece, but the asking is absolutely high based on what you all have educated me on</blockquote><br>
