I have an account on GHW2, though I don't use the site a lot, mainly for looking at helmets :D And yes, I got it at the auction taking into account that is was most likely messed with post war. I think the liner stands a chance at being the original one, as the rough finish paint does not appear very worn either (the slate gray is still preserved beneath the blue post war paint) I agree with your thoughts on the chin strap, could be a good one or a fake, I'm still on the fence as of yet. The thing with the M35 is that I simply didn't have that much money at hand, I had sold a bunch of items and got together around 1200 but as bidding went up, I opted out, especially since the auction house wouldn't supply me with decent photos of the decals while they advertised them as fakes so I preferred to rather pass on it instead. I probably won't keep this one for too long as I already have a ND Q M40 but took it because I know it will be worth more in parts than what I spent on it to fund getting something better which is my actual aim. Since I'll then be able to afford something better in the end. Plus I don't mind doing the odd paint removal on post war messed with helmets as long as the paint comes off easily :D Luis

Upload Files:Add another file ...Maximum files: 10 · Maximum file size: 10 MB · Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pdfCancel Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like this:Like Loading...
