I did already spend a lot of time looking at helmets and I have a few nice originals so again it doesn't strike me as surprising that the decals and the blue paint are crap.

I just wanted to make sure in case it's a type I hadn't seen before, so I wouldn't ruin something that is actually good.

Though the fact it was lacking so much in detail compared to other Polizei eagles already says enough.

I know that for the time being I will be missing the 200€ but I already have a friend who is interested in it, as long as I get the post war paint off without damaging the original paint.

And as for the value in parts, the shell as long as it comes out well is 100-200, the liner if it's a nice original would be 150+ and if the chin strap is also good it'd be another 100.
