It appears to have come out of a museum at some point due to the markings on the liner. I did not buy the helmet. The helmet appears to be an original military helmet but obviously repainted to look like some SS derivative. I tried to find all the normal markings to challenge myself to try and figure things out as I am still really new to collecting German Helmets. It didn't seem to have the normal lot numbers on the shell or markings on the chin strap. The helmet has marking on the back of the rim with one 3 digit number being unreadable over what appears to be S3428. The liner also has a circle with what appears to be a 'B' on one of the flaps. There was no dome stamp. Does anyone know what the base helmet would be? Thanks, Cam

Upload Files:Add another file ...Maximum files: 10 · Maximum file size: 10 MB · Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pdfCancel Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like this:Like Loading...
