Just as a conversation piece...a helmet of this nature I would think would be known world wide in the collecting community. In order to be "sales worthy" there has to be some sort of provenance associated with it. At least an "ownership provenance" for the last 50 years at least. This type helmet normally gets passed thru hands from advanced collectors to collector under the table, not on some website.
However...there are of course exceptions but for the most part...this helmet should be known.
I don't frequent the site it is for sale on...do they even try to present a believable, proven provenance ? If not...one would be foolish to buy such an item.
