LS just an abbreviation for Luftschutz, officially the reichs institute/ministry for air protection assigned identification numbers (kennummern) to manufactured items relative to equipment classes. I have this helmet already 15 years in my possession . It was the first original and no fake helmet that I bought, when I restarted with collecting German Helmets, after a lot of disappointments . At least I hoped so. That's why I have posted this helmet to have your professional opinion and I was really hoping for a positive signal. I am happy with the comments on this forum.
