Hi
I'd value your opinion on this which is currently for sale.
It's an M35 ET68, lot number 4732 with reinforced aly liner.
The decals are throwing me. The round bottom national shield looks like Peiniger and the eagle looks like a thin wing HJK. However, I'm no expert.
The decals don't seem to go together with each other or with an ET helmet. Is this legit or is it a post war fantasy piece?

It's a refreshened (restored) helmet with postwar paint and a fake tricolor added..
the eagle is an original Strache that was most likely original to the helmet (reissued) and it has been masked when it was repainted.

the liner band is original, the leather also but looks like they don't belong to each other (thus swapped).
The dome stamp is fake.
In one word it's a messed up helmet.

Many of those on ebay , catawiki (they recently stopped to accept Third Reich collectables). Most offered there was fake crap which their "experts" failed to see.
