Saw this on Weitze.
I really like these splotch camo´s.
What do you think of the Heer decal ?
I´m interested because it seems somehow "different" to me.
Weitze writes:
"Look at: the Helmet Decals of the Third Reich,
by Ken Niewiarowicz page 67" Unfortunately I do not own this book.
Is this helmet shown there or is the sort of decal shown?
Would be very happy if someone help me and of course a few opinions about this lid from you all.

As far as the decal...I don't know what it is. Never saw a decal so "distressed". Such a variety of patina & coloring to me looks artificially aged. The decals on page 67 are two varieties of HJK...neither are similar to this decal.
I would pass...but just my opinion

Hi Felix, I would be cautious buying from Weitze without really vetting his items. He is known to have quite a few stinkers over the years whether on purpose or not (the guy is kind of a fossil) but he has a good return policy. Just be vigilant!

Yep , a lot of stinkers. 3 bahnschutz helmets at this moment , all bad.
