What kind of paint to use?

Have a Luftwaffe helmet and am trying to paint some pins to match excising paint. Can anyone give me an idea as to what color to use or where I could buy it premixed?

Hello sir , the website’s purpose is to assist with questions regarding originality and to provide assistance for collectors looking for period WW2 helmets.

So your question is not in scope.

Helmets are best left as found , they do not need to be made complete again like old cars.
