I recently obtained an original but repainted M35 SE68 with lot number 305 for a deal I couldn't pass up. I am not fond of the current camo scheme and was considering having it redone with a Waffen SS double decal "normandy " camo representation. I have run into a conundrum with this idea because according to the GHV info pages, SE never made factory SS helmets and SE helmets with champagne runes are fakes. I understand it is a refurbishment, but is there any historically accurate way to have a SE M35 with SS decals as a post-factory/reissue? Likewise would it be accurate to have it set up as a combat polizei or is that also the same issue?

Upload Files:Add another file ...Maximum files: 10 · Maximum file size: 10 MB · Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pdfCancel Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like this:Like Loading…
