Heer or Kriegsmarine m42 ?
Hi,
Could you guys give me a fact which one is this ? Heer or Kriegsmarine ? I kind of think it is KM, but I would like to have a confirmation. Is the helmet otherwise ok or do you see red flags ?

Nice looking Heer helmet in my opinion. I do not believe hkp ever issued KM helmets.

With Weitze? yes most likely another mistake since they do many 😉
it shouldn't have been priced as a KM of course. (and i guess it was)

I have no idea how it has been priced. Seller of course thinks it is KM and the price is nearly double I am willing to pay 😃

Silver veteran - that was to Andrea talking about Weitze. Sorry was having trouble isolating his quote about them making mistakes !! Haha.

Also SilverVeteran for M42s there would be this decal only on CKL shells and to a lesser extent this ET style (that you have above) is on EF shells occasionally. Usually EF shells have a HJ&K thin wing decal below 🙂
So an easy way to weed out M42s good KM or bad.... Is that they would only be made by EF or CKL 🙂 for the Kriegsmarine if that’s helpful to you.
