The helmet certainly looks scrubbed with remnants of black paint.
The decal photo is really poor and taken at an angle and very low resolution. But, admitting I could be wrong, It looks closer to a Pocher decal than a Q. The left rune appears to be closer to the break where the Q is below the break.
Maybe D, Andrea, Frank have better eyes than I. I trust their analysis more than mine on SS decals.

Thanks Andrea. With the scrubbing I could not be sure. the break looked much closer to a Pocher...but that is why I deferred 🙂
